WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY was celebrated by SAU

The WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY was celebrated by the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry on 20 March 2023. This day was celebrated with the motto Be proud of your mouth. On this day, a Pit and Fissure Sealant application drive was initiated and carried on for 3 days.

The drive was started by educating the children about the role of pit and fissure sealant by the staff. Then a demonstration was given by the post graduate students to all the children about various preventive regimes including proper brushing with floridated paste, floride varnishes and floridated mouthwashes. After educating, the sealant application was done. This drive was carried for 3 days from 20-22 March 2023. More than 90+ children were benefited by this program.
