Swacchata hi Seva | Garbage free India

On 01 Oct 2023, under the compliance of UGC & Ministery of Housing and family affairs Sri Aurobindo University (SAU) organized various outreach activities to make environment Clean & healthy.
Plants are the natural air purifiers and have many important medicinal properties, with this view Sri Aurobindo University created "Oshadhi Vatika" at Luv kush Pond, Bhawarsala, Indore and planted Many medicinal plants to create green & clean environment.
The event was graced by our Founder Chairman Dr. Vinod Bhandari, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Mahak Bhandari and family.
The event was coordinated by our Nodal officer Dr. Prashant Mishra along with Dr. Mayank Rahul as Co-Nodal officer for this event.
We were overwhelmed by the presence of our Student welfare Dean Dr. Jaishree Tapadia, Our Principal of Dental College Dr. Kanteshwari I. K, Registrar (SAU) Dr. Anand Mishra, Our C.O.O Mr. Rajeev Singh, along with our senior faculties of various departments.
The event was followed by a Campaign which was organized at Barbdari Village, Indore by students, interns, faculties and management of the University to create awareness among people residing in village. The campaign was then followed by cleaning the roads by picking up the garbage, swiping the roads, painting the wells and hand pumps and distributing educational pamphlets on how to clean surroundings and purify water.
The activities were then ended by taking an oath to make clean and healthy environment.
